I've tried to respond to your private message but I keep getting a internal error. So I will just answer the question here. You are correct my headlights are clear with the amber bulb which you only see when the turn signals are used. I got them from Speedway Motors. The sale both the amber strip at the bottom and the clear strip.

Unfortunately I still need to pester you on headlights. I looked through your thread and you tube vids you've posted on your build trying to get a close up look and match for headlights. Looking through Speedway Motors headlights, did you use the fluted Part # 9106127, see link below

Too me yours don't look too be fluted, they seem a closer match to factory pattern.

This is right before my first real test drive. I have a car buddy that is not doing so well these days so I took the truck to his house so he can take a look at it. The truck rides nice but the best part was seeing the smile on his face when he was checking it out.

WOW Bam that came out sweet and the sound of that motor is amazing (gotta love that old school chevy drone)! I love yours wife's enthusiasm and can understand why she is so excited. What a nice gift you gave to your friend by taking the 58' for him too see, hope his health improves. Now that this project is wrapping up (I always have a few tweaks and adjustments after first time on the road) I hope you keep building and passing on your talents to the next generation. BTW, I ordered those headlights we talked about, thank you for your help. Amazing build!

Thanks man. Yeah it feels good to drive it and all is going well so far. I'm still going to have it dyno tuned once I find a place locally to take it to. As far as my buddy, its really an age thing he is getting up there in age and not getting around as well as he use to. He is also thinking about selling he's rides (already sold one) because he does not drive them anymore. The wife is excited when she gets to ride in them, she is a finished project type of girl.lol She hates the building process but loves to ride.lol The good thing about being together so long (30 years) is we know each other so well. She knows what I'm going to do before I do it.lol

BTW I took it to one of our local meet and greet hang outs and people liked those headlights.lol

Hey, handsome, you have no idea how great you look rolling (running - DRIVING) down the road in YOUR MASTERPIECE! BEST thing also, is the ultimate SUPPORT of your LADY riding with you.

I am SO happy for you 3 (you, your wife & the "58") because you're doing something I can only WISH I could do. May God be your co-pilot wherever you venture off to and keep all of you safe.

GREAT JOB and thanks for sharing that eventful ride and taking us along!!! Regards buddy!
