    Default Rusrt-Defender over Picklex

Is it OK to use Rust-Defender polyesther over Picklex-20?
On the can it says" do NOT use metal wash/etch as it may affect adhesion".
I could pray some epoxy on 1st.,but thats and extra step and expense.

I would take a D.A Sander with some 120 grit and sand to get some tooth to bite on then spray rust defender. Don't spray on epoxy wet on wet with rust defender it doesn't adhere that well and is not needed.

I've never used rust defender so I can't tell you how it will work. I would think that as long as it doesn't contain any acid to etch metal then it should work fine.
