Default How does a supplied air hood seal ?

I am looking into a supplied air system . When looking at the hood with the Hobby Air or SAS I was wondering how it seals . It looks like it drapes over the shoulders . Is that all it takes or is there more than meets the eye ? Thanks !

The hood has an inflatable collar that takes up a lot of the bottom opening but bottom is where the air escapes so you can't have it too tight. There is so much air moving through the hood that it doesn't allow the fumes in. The hood is all we use for spraying paint in our shop because it's more comfortable and the hose in in the back and not in front of you like other masks. If you purchase a hood or full face mask be sure to get a pack of the lens protectors.
