3m Fineline Tape

HI guys........which is better for making flames on a hood? Right now im using 1/4 " blue by 3m? Is the green tape better then the blue for making curves. The guy at the paint told me that is better.I also baught the 1/8 " 3m fineline blue tape thanx guys:confused:

General rule of thumb is that the green polyester tape is better for straight lines and the blue vinyl better for tight curves. What I like about the polyester is that it doesn't stretch as the blue does. However for flames or anythiing with tight curves you need that stretch.

I don't try to do tight curves with 1/4" because it usually buckles, I use 1/8" for most tight curves.
