    Default welding through zero rust

I have a steel frame that needs to have sheet steel tacked to it. Can I paint the frame with zero rust before it is spot welded, or should I use a weld through primer?

I wouldn't use ZR prior to welding. You could use the Weld Through Primer. I just use Picklex-20.

Like Greg said, use weld thru primer or Picklex prior to welding but you can use Zero Rust after the welding.
