    Len, How do you refinish over paint that has had fish eye elimator added with out going back to bare metal

    Fish eye eliminator can cause problems when trying to recoat a surface. I would prep a small area then apply some 2K primer to see if it will stay together or fish eye. If it doesn't fish eye you can coat the entire surface wih the 2K then sand and shoot. If it does fish eye you may need to strip it or add fish eye elmininator to your new paint in order to get it to lay evenly. Fish eye eliminator should be a last resort because it can make the surface very peely and can cause major problems if a repair is needed. If you do add FEE be sure it's only a couple drops.
