Satajet 3000 price

I'm about to go drop some serious coin on some Glasurit paint. The guy at the store tells me he'll let me have a Satajet 3000 HVLP for $425. I've seen prices exceed $600 for this gun. I've got a friend who lives in Prague (yes, the Czech Republic) and I sent her on a mission to find a local Sata dealer over there and they're telling her over $600. I thought that was interesting as Prague is in Eastern Europe, not far from Germany, etc. It seems Sata is doing their best to control prices. So tell me, is $425 a decent price? I've seen them from time to time on e-bay for that much but never from a retail business.

Does he have the gun in hand? Maybe he wants to get rid of it...

i would say look close at the front of it to see if it took a hard fall. other than that, get it.
