need help with hood alignment

my hood is not align with the fender (this is what it look like)

what do you think is wrong?
do you think the frame in not align?
I replace the both hinges but I didn't have the frame measured or pull before we section the rail and replace the radiator support.

Please help me????

u could still see if it is square with a tape. Thats the first thing u have to find out.. I did one of them cars were it was square. But had a huge gape on one side. So I did the old roll the fender in some. Your links did not work on my PC. But check if you are square if u are u know its in the fenders or hood or hinges 1 or all. If its over well thats a easy fix pull it back.

your rail could possibly be short, but by the looks of it, you could get by with adjusting the fender out at the front even if you have to file out the holes a little.this is the perfect example of why you should always go by measurements, not looks.

Yep. And on an 05. Its an infant and will be handy capped its whole life.

Without looking at the previous pics and assuming that is the side that got hit, you may have welded the core spt on while the apron/upper rail was/is in too far. Now if you have it pulled, it will take the other side out of alignment.
you might wanna take the core support back off, of have a body shop do it (if you can find one willing) and weld it on after the front is squared up. It will be much harder, if not impossible to get a proper repair at this point, but enough butchering can get it looking fair.

I believe jay is talking about taking a wide strap that has a flat hook permanently fastened to one end that is hooked onto the wheelhouse area. The other end of the strap laid over the fender top and over the engine and is pulled toward the other side of the car. When the strap is pulled it tends to "roll" the fender toward the center of the car closing the gap between fender and hood. IOW bending it to give the illusion that it fits right. It's one of those tools in a bag of tricks.

Try to find out the dimensions between the 2 front fender bolts. I bet they are too close together. Doing it the way you seem to want to do it, the only answer is, elongate the fender bolt holes in the passenger side fender to get enough adjustment. As far as it is off, I dont think you will get the adjustment necessary unless you literally open the hole and barely "pinch the fender" with a big washer, to hold it in place.
But admit it....you screwed up
But then again, body shops are over rated. We have no skills. Its so easy a cave man can do it.

OK, picture a house with a cement foundation. A car goes out of control and smacks into the corner of that house shifting the foundation in one corner over a bit as well as damaging both walls on that corner. We told you to get a contractor to straighten the foundation before you start trying to repair the walls. You ignored that advice from several professionals and skipped the part about straightening the foundation and went right to the trying to make the two walls look better. Now nothing fits correctly BECAUSE THE FOUNDATION WAS NOT STRAIGHTENED FIRST. Learning the hard way can be an expensive lesson in money as well as wasted time and effort. This is my last post on the subject - TAKE THE CAR TO A FRAME SHOP AND HAVE THEM DO WHAT THEY DO -- PROFESSIONALLY. Be prepared to spend at least twice as much now than it would have cost you to start with because they not only have to repair the original damage but will have re-do the work you tried to do.

Alignment issues with the sheet metal are the least of your troubles,GOD FORBID that car ever gets hit again!
The thing is made to fold up in a specific sequence,airbags are timed to the millisecond,if it's off that bad where you can see,what about where you CAN"T see?
Not to mention tire wear issues...
88GT is right,this must be easy,afterall,Midas gets 70 plus an hour to change brakes you can do in your driveway,we get less than 40 to take the telephone pole out of your front end!!!!!!
