My cowl has a opening vent with a tight mesh screen.
I have blasted it with a fine grit media & put on some picklex. I plan on painting the vent frame with base coat-clear & painting the screen with one coat epoxy & one coat single stage black. Does this sound like the right procedure for this? I'm concerned about the screen getting blocked off by too much paint.
