Is this the right way?
A very Newbie question..
I have only sprayed parts up to this point but I am getting ready to spray the body (primer) of a full size Chevy, no doors or front clip attatched. I assume I should start with the roof and work down and do the jambs before the body? When doing the rear quarters I obviously cannot reach from door jamb to tail in one arms length. Do I have to walk along and do the entire length in each pass or do I break up the quarter into two different sections? Any help is appreciated!

I usually start at the close edge of the roof and spray until I reach the middle then go to the other side and pick up where I left off in the middle and spray until I reach the other side.
It's best not to walk if possible because it get's tricky to keep the speed and distance the same while maintaining the proper overlap. On quarters I will usually pick a spot in the middle and spray half at a time. Spraying primer is pretty forgiving and mistakes are usually sanded out pretty easy. Remember to use guide coat when block sanding primer.
