Hi Len, I got my paint gun (Dura-block 7003) that I ordered and want to thank you for your patience on my changing the order in mid stream. I was very impressed on the overall look of the gun and wanted to try it out right away, unfortunately, I'm not ready for paint just yet so, I brought it over to a mentor for him to road test it. Jerry had a Olds Cutlass in the booth ready to paint BC/CC and said he would use my gun on a fender, and give me his thoughts on it's performance.
His thoughts: The gun took a little to set-up and he had to play with the pressure to dial it in but, once it was there it was laying the paint down nicely with a good fan. He painted the entire car and liked the balance and operation of the gun, especially the swivel on the cup, he found it reduced fatigue being able to move the weight back on his wrist when spraying the decks. He cleared the car with his gun, but said he had grown fond of the Dura Block and couldn't believe how little I had paid for it. He felt it was every bit as good as the $300.00 plus guns out there. He showed me the Cutlass and boy it sure looked nice, I have the tools! (just in need of the talent). Jerry says "you got your self a winner with this one". Thanks Len!
