Neoterik swivel

What's a swivel? I bought a system from Len a few years ago, & I don't have clue what that is. I currently have the Hood system, & was thinking about getting the mask. The hood is too restictive & makes me feel like I am an astronaut

When using other systems the couplings will allow the attaching hose to swivel so that you can remove the loops and/or kinks. With the Neoterik the couplings don't rotate when they are coupled together so you either need to uncouple them or do a dance to remove the loops. Neoterik used to make a swivel that compensated for the couplings but they stopped when a new company bought them out because they didn't like the design. Actually I'm the only one who even calls them Neoterik these days, the new name is Global Securities.
