    Default Bare metal?

    Got bare metal showing after filler work can I use zero rust on those spots
    I donít have etch or epoxy primer on hand and I wonít be working on door for a few days
    Door is off car in garage

    I've never used Zero Rust as a primer but it may work. The potential problem is that the solvent in the paint that you apply on top of the ZR could cause the ZR to release from the surface. However if you are just trying to protect the exposed metal until you can get back to it then I'd sand off the ZR before applying your primer and paint.

    what is the environment in the garage? I have left my truck for weeks in bare metal with no problem.

    I usually just throw some masking plastic over it if it needs to sit for a while. Keeps impurities out of the filler too.

    Be careful of getting any rust preventative
    on filler, some are acid based which are incompatible.
