Default How long should 2K epoxy primer dry

before I paint with my color coat? The product data says that you should recoat within 30min-1hour but does that mean to recoat with more epoxy or does it mean that it is ok to topcoat with your color?

    The exact instructions:

    DRYING SCHEDULE
Dry times are based on the recommended dry film thickness of 2.0 mils.
Air dry times at 75 degrees F and 50% R.H.
    To Recoat 30min-1hour

Forced dry times (to tape free)
    140F 30 min
    160F 20 min

This is as confusing as hell to me, surely it takes longer than 30min-1hour of air dry time at 75F if you use the same time to dry at 140F-160F

    Default Which brand??

Which brand (and product number) of primer are you using? Someone here has most likely used your product and can comment from experience.

    Default Time to dry

    Hi all,
Let me quest at this one.

    1. "To Recoat 30min-1hour"
this is the time need befor the 2nd coat of the epoxy you are using.

    2. Forced dry times ( to tape free)

This is drying the epoxy to the point that
masking tape can be used on the epoxy

    Good luck Ed
