    Default DIY bumper restoration

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for me. I realize I should've sanded the entire bumper bare but its very thin and am trying to keep thickness where I can. Also due to deep pitting in some areas, I cant get all of the rust completely off. Any ideas?

If you don't have a sand blaster you can sand off the paint then apply something like Picklex 20, rub it in and wipe it off and allow it to dry then scuff it and prime it with epoxy primer that doesn't contain any acid. If you want to level out the pitted areas apply a filler primer then sand it with some 400 wet then paint it.
