Default picking up where another left off....

I bought bed sides and a tailgate from a guy who had them sandblasted. The panels survived the blasting and then was sprayed with a 2K urethane primer.

They have been inside for a couple of years.

What would be the best method going forward. I'm not a professional and any thing I have ever taken to bare metal I used an epoxy primer.

Do I sand the primer off and then spray with an epoxy and go from there?

Not sure of the path forward.

    Hi Scott
Yes, if the existing coating is a filler primer, remove it and replace it with an epoxy primer.

    Thanks.

I will sand them down and re-spray with an epoxy.

    Thanks again.
