    Default What do we lubricate gun needle with?

    I was reading the Classroom section of this forum and I noticed that we are supposed to lubricate the needle. What should we use? What should we avoid?

    I would probably avoid products that could cause fish eyes in the paint like any silicone or petrolium based products. I use DeVilbiss gun lube by putting a drop on the needle and spreading it with my finger then inserting it in the gun.
