Default Need 4" pad for 3M Scotch Bright

I need a 4" pad for the 4" 3M Scotch Bright Surface Conditioning Disks that you sell under code 3m7450. This will go on a spare air palm sander I have, not sure of the thread size but will check tonight on that.

The thread size on the pad I removed is 5/16-24 EXT

Our warehouse stocks the pad pictured below but I don't have any info telling how it attaches to the tool. We can have that box of 10 shipped for $29.95 plus shipping.

i think he meant the backing plate on the tool, not the actual abrasive.

    Trying to get this straight.

Do you want (BOTH) the abrasive AND the backing/mounting disk 5/16 x 24 thread common for a DA and do you want 4" or 5"? I ask because your link is to 5".

    Wish I had a 65 Corvette!

Yes I understand the link is for 5", what Len sales is 4". I'm fine on ether size.

What I'm trying to rig up on my air palm sander is a backing plate that will accept "Red or Green" Scotch Bright pads. This might be as simple as a 3M Hook-It backing plate but I'm not sure if that is what I need.

The Hook-It backing plate won't adhere to the Scotch Bright pads, they need a mount like the Roloc pad and disks. I don't think the Roloc backing plate comes with a 5/16 mount, the one we use is shown below and is used on a rotary tool like an air or electric drill and costs $30
