Small air bubbles in the clear coat

Hi All
I got some small air bubbles in the clear (practicing on the interior door panels).
Is this because of laying down coats too heavy?
or not waiting long enough between coats?

While spraying clear, should the first pass yeild the super shiny gloss?
Or should it only be a matt looking shine, and the super shine comes after 3 coats , (with waiting 5 min between coats)?

Those little bubbles are caused by one of two things... either you laid the paint on too heavily or you heated the surface before the paint had flashed enough.

Lay the first coat on in a light medium coat then wait for it to dry to the touch. After the first coat dries you can apply the second and third more heavily but still wait for a couple minutes between coats so that trapped solvent doesn't cause solvent pop.

Wait untill the clear coat does not pull with your finger. touch the masking paper and see if it pulls the clear coat with your glove, wait untill it is sticky but, not pulling.
