Evercoat over paint?

Can I use Evercoat Rage extreme over roughed up paint? Or does it HAVE to go onto bare metal?

They don’t recommend putting it over paint so I would say no. Evercoat Metal Glaze can be used over OEM top coats and maybe others as well. Check the product sheet for anything you want to use and see if it is allowed.

As I remember all products in their "MetalWerks" system are ok to go over OEM paint. Yep just checked, RAGE can go over sanded OEM finishes. For some reason it doesn't say so on RAGE GOLD or Z-Grip??? But most all the polyester putties like Metal Glaze, Glaze Coat, Spot-lite (never used it) etc. While "Metal-2-Metal" has nothing mentioned about it???? Hmmmm. interesting.
