ots of rust on the body of my f-250

my f-250 is has rust eating through parts of the body. there is tremendous amount of rust under the door hinges also. i took it to a body shop and the guys is telling me that the entire body is rusted underneath. the guy told me this truck doesnt have much time left. not sure if he's trying to scare me into getting more work done. but ive attached some photos. is there anything i can do or is this truck done. i just want the body to be patched, minor scratches buffed out and throw on some paint. this is a work truck so i dont need the body work to be perfect. if i get this done, will the rust come back and how soon?

This type of damage can definitely be repaired but it's a matter of how much time and money the vehicle is worth. We've done several Ford pickups for ourselves and customers, this is not an unusual problem. Each area is done using repair panels available from many different suppliers.

Just curious what State do you live in and what road conditions have caused that truck to rust so fast. Mike
