Actually a "good" acrylic urethane is quite hard and resistant to UV and abrasion but paint products are different and some may be soft. We use Glasurit, Diamont and some Sikkens and all three get quite hard and hold up very well. It's acrylic enamel that is quite soft and tends to age more quickly.

While acrylic urethane is the best top coat available it is also the most dangerous to spray. You should use a "supplied air" breathing system to protect you while you spray and vent the room properly. You also want to make sure that you don't endanger your family or neighbors while you spray.

Nt really an option for spraying at home. Just after something thats hard wearing but suitable for sraying at home. Starting tho think that mite not be an option.
