Gas tank restore

Here's a gas tank from a '71 Porsche. The top will be exposed in the trunk; the bottom is exposed underneath the car. The original finish is a black wrinkle type coating. It's been cleaned and sealed. There were some small holes in the top that have been repaired. I plan to blast or wirebrush the exterior, then Picklex, then ZeroRust, then undercoating. Any other suggestions or ideas? Thanks for the help. dho

That's about it, the only other thing I would probably do is to put a rubberized tape seal around the edge where it meets the trunk floor. That seal may even be a standard part for that car.
