I am painting my 2002 gsx-r 750 with Omni paint. The paint I picked is a tri-coat system. It's GM diamond white pearl. I got some blue pearl powder so that I can use it on the ghost flames that I will be taping off. I have sanded all the ABS panels with 220. All of my filler work is done. I was planning on priming and then wet-sanding with 400 before applying the paint. The primer that was suggested to me by the lady who sold me the paint is a surfacer for ABS bumpers. Does all of this sound good? I want to make sure that I execute this well. I just spent $300 on this stuff! I will be spraying this with an Astro LVLP gun with a 1.4mm tip. I was hoping to get some advice on the best way to make my ghost flames stand out with the blue pearl using this system.

. But I dont agree with that astro lvlp for trying a tri stage. Omni is thin enough. Using a cheapy gun is not advisable. That tri stage probably costs enough, probably more than the gun and the pearl will not lay down good enough. It wont be that translucent, just IMHO.
