Many of the DeVilbiss spray guns will have a price increase on March 1. If you're thinking about buying one of these guns now it the time to do it.

ah closing the gap between SATA's huh
What's the reason for the price raise Len?
The supplier/manufacturer is raising the price and Len is just warning us with a Heads-Up to order now or pay more. It's NOT just here. If the manufacturer goes up so will all other sellers of the product. Consider fuel for everyone who has to ship the product, pay increases for employees, insurance increases for companies, etc. Where do you live under a rock (no harrassment intended). What about milk and coffee with their heavy price rises FOR NO REASON!
Have no fear though as I'm sure all the SNAKES out there who come here and post links to the other places will find a better price MINUS customer service (try calling TCGlobal or ask a question on their WEBSITE FORUM) etc.
My opinion says it takes big balls or NO balls to come here and learn all about a product through hundreds of questions and posts, learn all you need only to have some dummy post other sites for the sale.
People like this take their own steak to restaurants and ask the chef to cook it.

I'm sure Sata will have an increase that is larger than the DeVilbiss increase.
The cost of manufacturing would be my guess. March is a big month for many products to get a price increase.
The increase is passed from the manufacturer to the warehouse to me and sometimes I need to pass it along to the user depending on the size of the increase.
Hey whats your problem? All i did was ask a simple question, i didnt know if it had to do with the manufacturer or just with Len since he sells items cheaper then most sites out there. All my recent purchases have been from Len, and i never post links to others' sites, and as far as shipment goes you pay for it unless it has free shipment . I come to this site and ask for help and tips as im still in school. And I'm not sure if you were calling me a "dummy" or not but I'm gonna assume you werent. The only thing i can see positive in your reply was the TCP global remark, as i ordered something from there , got dissapointed, made several calls, until I finally got a rep after 20 minutes of waiting. Got my money back and ordered from Len, so I don't know what the reason for your comment was but thanks for the time.
I'm sorry to you and didn't mean any disrespect against you. Your simple question just reminded me of other times when people ask certain questions which prompts others to post competitor sites like they"re Mr Google. Didn't mean to raise the point at your expense.
Actually, you impress me because you are a young age, have the internet, best of tools available and paint and you're making it all work. Back in the day, I started by watching a couple others and hooked up with a guy who let me help him in his shop but everything had to be done by hand. He didn't allow using air tools for learning. I'm glad he did that because I learned the right way then graduated to air. Still today, I'd rather use my hand board sander than one of my air ones.
Also, you are doing things the right way in asking lots of questions and ending up with some good tools that will last you long into your autobody endevors. I was so tired of shopping at the same places for stuff locally and used the internet looking for a spraygun. I found this site almost 15 years ago and have been here ever since. I wish it was available to me many years before because there is a lot of JUNK out there.
No one has to buy from Len but I think for his smaller store his prices are very good. He sells for example, American PG27 masking tape probably close to what he pays for it. All this talk about guns has me at the time to order a QC Tekna from Len for myself. I don't really do enough work anymore to warrant it but I just have to have one too. I have a PLUS that works great for my needs.
That's it good buddy. Just keep doing what you're doing and learn all you can. The real learning is many hours of actual work yourself. Good luck and enjoy the rest of the weekend. Henry
PM sent to Len.
