Default Filling Holes in Fiberglass Truck Hood

I have to replace the fiberglass tilt hood on my dump truck. I have found one off a school bus. It has some 3/8 drilled holes and 1" holes for turn signals that I don't need.
Whats the best way to fill them? thanks dennis

The small holes you can probably get away with beveling and some short strand fiberglass filler but the larger hose should probably be beveled and covered with fiberglass mat and resin. You want to cut the mat to lie within the beveled area the coat the bevel with resin and lay in your mat and coat it with more resin. After the resin hardens you can apply more resin, allow it to harden, scuff it with some 80 grit and use regular body filler to level the surface.

On the larger holes you could try some long strand fiberglass paste but it probably won't be as strong as mat and resin.
