    Default Evercoat Fiber tech

Is Evercoat's Fiber Tech as good as kitty hair when used as a waterproof filler? Are there any drawbacks to using it. I want to cover a welded patch coverering a 1" hole in the front cowl area. Thanks very much, John

It depends on the job you're doing, we tried the Fibetech and it went on smooth and sanded off nice but we decided to go with Everglass for most repairs. The Fibertech is Kevlar and has extra strength and it's great if you need the strength.

So, do you use everglass for most repairs because it's less expensive, or are there other reasons? Thanks very much, John

That's about it, no sense in spending the money if you don't need the strength.
