Default PickelX done, Can I apply filler to the panel now or after???

I have all the body panels blasted, and coated with PickleX, My question is I will be using Mirror glaze over the now-clean pock marks from surface rust.
Should I epoxy prime the pickleX then mirror glaze, or Mirror glaze right on the pickleX THEN prime?

The local PPM dealer says epoxy prime, then a sealer (sandable primer), then another coat of epoxy prime before the color coat. He looked at me funny when I told him I treated the blasted steel. Am I going down the right road here?
Right now I'd like to start the surface rust repair so ...Skim coat or epoxie prime application to the pickleX?
    Thanks

I would follow his instructions but add one thing.... Scuff the Piclex with some 220 before you lay on the primer.

By watching your Spraypainting 101, After the Base Epoxy coat, then the sandable, then the second epoxy, this is when I do the guide coat to get it super smooth. correct?

I never heard of pickle x, but I always just put epoxy primer over sandblasted metal. It seems to work good. You should put some kind of coating over the primer soon though. It doesnt hold up too good if you try to drive with primer on it.

The 2K filler primer needs to be guide coated then sanded to make the surface perfectly flat and prep it for the next coating. The primer can be sealed with epoxy primer or a dedicated sealer before applying your top coat. So apply your epoxy primer then the 2K prime then sand THEN apply another coat of epoxy. If you allow too much time to pass after the last (sealer coat) coat of epoxy primer you will need to sand again before applying your color.
