    Default Painting Grafix

I have a small sticker, "mk1dubz.com" I want on the back of this project car. I am not sure what it is called or how I should even do it.

I basically want to lay some base in maybe a darker tint, put the sticker on the car, lay some regular base on over the entire car, removed the sticker and clearcoat the entire car, so a painting of the sticker is under the clear coat.

What would be the best way to acomplish this?

When I do this I go to Sign-a-Rama and have them cut out the design I want using a masking material. But you need to give them an accurate size and shape of what you want. Most of the sign shops won't have the proper masking material so I ended up purchasing an entire roll just in case I needed it again.

If you go this route be sure to tell the sign shop what you're doing so that they "pick" out the letters instead of removing the surrounding material the way they do when they make vinyl signs.
