    Default Laquer look with BC/CC

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to get the laquer look with BC/CC? I have a PPG color to give me the look of the gold Cad plating on the brake booster but I can't find anyone close that is still mixing laquer. is there a flatening additive that I can add to give me the look of un-polished laquer?

The easiest way I have found is to mix some base in with the clear, this will give you a duller look. There are also flattening agents that can be added, should be able to get from wherever you got your PPG

What ratio base to clear should I use?

Honestly dont think I have ever measured it! I would say about 25% color 75% clear. I put base down first to get the color. You might want to do some tests to get the look you want, less base=more shine, more base=less shine
