There are probably tips available for the Finex but I think you would probably be better off with the Finishline 3 by DeVilbiss. If you want it for both primer and color you can get one with several tips like the one below.

Len, I want the gfg-670 later on but would this be a descent gun on your link for say epoxy and high build primers? And being a beginner would I even be able to tell the difference between the finish line III and the gfg-670?

Yes, this Finishline gun is what we use for primer. We use it for all types of primer and we switch out the fluid tip for different types of primer.

If you had both the Finishline and the Plus gun and sprayed with both you would see the difference immediately. The Plus atomized better and it produces a smoother finish but that's not a big concern when spraying primer because you're going to sand it prior to painting.

Len, I think I am going to get the finex 3000 cause its kinda a package deal.I made him an offer of $200 and he accepted.Thats for a new finex 3000 with a 1.8 tip. A used cornwell da sander. A set of 6 dura blocks and a used Dewalt variable speed buffer. Thats a pretty good deal isnt it? I was wanting a variable speed buffer to strip my car cause I read on here that they work good on 1000 for stripping paint. I think cornwell makes a good da? And wont the 1.8 tip be fine for epoxy primer and other primers?

I know we are already in march 2011 but I'm going to reply to this post anyway.Just the other day I tried the finex 3000 to do a basecoat clearcoat color match on a 2008 Pontiac G6 bumper cover with Martin Senour Tec Base and clear and maan did it come out awesome. Almost no orange peel at all, and the color match was very very close.
