    Default Spray Gun Cleaning Video

We produced a video on cleaning you gravity feed gun and put it on YouTube. Since it's a little over 10 minutes we broke it into two parts. So check out parts 1 and 2 and see if it helps you with your post painting clean up.

I started on this video about a month ago then someone had a problem about a week before you then your problem came along and made me think that my timing was good. I even had the Air Force order several kits this week so it must be spray gun cleaning time.

funny how things work. One thing what all do u use gun oil on? I know the needle... But I had to run solvent down the air tubes in the gun body. I took the trigger out when I did it. Do u oil that when u put it back in? Im not trying to Hy-jack here. just don't know.

In most cases I only oil the needle but I will also oil the air valve pin if it starts to bind.

Excellent video... Sound's stupid but I never realized until I saw the video that I am wasting a TON of thinner cleaning my guns. Not only spraying it out I also routinely soak many of the smaller parts in glass jars.

I also need to step up the quality of my brush kit... The one I have the steel spline extends out past the end of the bristles and it is very easy to scratch the gun. Also I don't have those small air cap brushes either.

Default Here's another video we just put on You Tube

We get a lot of questions about spray gun adjustments so we thought it would be a good topic for a short (3 min.) video.

I watched you spray gun cleaning video a couple of times and thought I would try it your way. I went out and purchased a ketchup and mustard plactic bottle at a dollar store. Seems like when you tilt it to use it leaks out of the screw o cap. I guess they don't make them like they use to! Any suggestions??

I feel your pain! It took me a while before I found some good ones that won't leak.

One question, do you clean your gun this way after every paint job? What if I'm switching from eprimer to primer, from one day to the next, would you completely clean the gun or just run some thinner through it?
