Default how would you repair the underside to a 68 cougar?

It's unitized so I'm thinking if I get it on jackstands and just drop everthing I can wire wheel it to death and metal condition and epoxy? Any better ideas for the poorman? What about if there's boxed sections? Would I just get metal condition in there and wax wand it? I'm planning on restoring one and the beginning stages are a concern. I never did anything like that before. So along with the bottom I'll do all the floors and everything too. Not gonna spend to get it blasted. For this I'd rather do everything I can do inhouse. After I deal with the rust I'll do the body, poly prime n block/180, urethane prime, spray guide, and then jamb the car. Last I'll block and bring it to a booth. I'll probably even cutt and buff it too.

Any tips for the underside or things I should look into? I'm also gonna clean up the backsides of the panels and epoxy where I can, or is that too far?
This is my first so experience is worth gold and I don't mind getting dirty.

thanks. I know how to do that already, or have been versed in the procedure but since I never actually done a floor the more the better. Love that site btw, just don't understand all the code stuff they're talking about. I'm thinking it's revisions or what quarter they were manufactured in. Always hear J Code.

Looks like lots of people have inquired about partial boxed sections and backsides of panels in the rust forum. I'll have a look there.

J = 302-4V engine for 1968 @ 10.5:1 compression. A preferred small block engine if you can get one. Mine is a J code.
