Went out this morning to wash the car down and found a stone chip low down in the middle of the hood, sprayed a week ago BC/CC.
I guess a lot of your projects sit off-road for that crucial month while paint fully cures whereas this is my daily drive so I had no choice but to drive after a couple of days curing. Its not like I drive too close to the guy in front so I get stones flying up, but I did have to drive a couple of hundred on fast roads to go on holiday so I guess I just caught one there.
The solution I know is to feather out the chip, blend and reclear the whole panel, but what's the point when I know the odds are it's gonna chip somewhere else? It makes me feel like going back to chip filling with activated clear and finding something less frustrating to do with my time.![]()
