Yeah the stuff is a mess but i'm done with that now, and on to my grinding disc. And then my sandblaster to get the rust out. Should be a fun project.

I'm taking a few days off this project because I have some insurance work coming into the shop this week so I will update again when I get back on it.

Well the GS project got put on hold since the customer had to buy a bunch of parts. So hopefully it will be back in the shop soon, not this coming week but the week after.

So since there is no work, because it's dead around here, I brought my wagon in to pass the time. My daily driver.....

    Here's a before shot:

And now, it's not done, so I will only tease you:

And one outside for now , more to come............

A question for you if you don't mind. I noticed on the driver side quarter that there is surface rust present on the inner structure up behind the qtr patch you installed. How will you address this? Won't this continue to rust from the inside out over time? Not criticizing, just wondering what you do.

Well since the car is still in limbo none of that work has been done yet. Nothing is welded on yet. I always sandblast and epoxy all rusted areas. I will post pix's of what I do once the customer gives me the go ahead to start again.

I figured you'd do that with the exposed areas and I see you only cut out what was necessary to make the repair. What I was wondering about was the surface rust that appears to run up around the wheel well and behind the repair. How you go about addressing these areas on repairs like this?

I like your wagon. On first glance I was thinking it was really clean and that you had just polished and detailed it. On my second look I see that you removed the woodgrain vinyl and two-toned it. Looks great! What did you do about the trim? Lets see some more pics.
