    Default Adhesion promoter

I have the urethane bumprs from my 87 Chevy stripped naked. Code on the back is PUR. What adhesion promoter is needed ? Its a garage paintjob but I'm trying to get this right. Thanks.

There are several different types of AP. Some are like thinner they will work a little but are at the lower end of the AP scale. Others are like a clear enamel and work better than the thinner type and then their are the two part products that work best but cost a lot more than the other two. I've been using Diamont AP which is the clear enamel type and it's been working quite well. You can get most Diamont products from BASF or RM suppliers. The type that is handled by most Pep Boys or AutoZone stores is Bull Dog, it's usually in an aerosol and is the thinner type.

Thanks Len. Now I have more reading to do. I think I'll Google Diamont AP and see what I find..
