auto air colors
I did a search and didn't come up with anything. I was wondering what your guys thoughts were on auto air colors. I'm looking into airbrushing and painting and this is such an inexpensive way to go. I found a store that sells them and if nothing I don't think it would be to bad a paint to practice with, am I wrong? Anything you guys know about how these paints compare to other companie's paints?

I have used them on many different surfaces and projects. Computer cases, bench vices, welding helmets, etc etc. I don't really find them cheap, as a 4oz of a green or orange "Sparkalecent" which are the colors I use is $15.00 at my local body shop that sells them. They don't stand up to shit unless you clear them however. They MUST be cleared.Originally Posted by JadedCustoms

To be honest with you, I havent tried spraying them out of my big guns yet. The folks down at my local jobber say they work great out of a big gun. All I know is that through an airbrush, for me anyways, they are a pain in the ass. I blame myself for that, being spoiled by uros as I am. I cant make my airbursh keep from spitting when using them, then you have to wait forever for them to dry. Believe me ive tried, different pressures, reducers, including Fantastik, white and black is the worst for spitting. Again that is my shortcoming. I have to say that after seeing what Mickey Harris and Cross-Eyed (to name a couple) can do with them. As long as uros are around I will continue to use them, love that instant dry. AL
