Default Evercoat Spot-Lite over Flexible Primer

K, I primered (1K flexible) some plastic pieces today (two flexible, two rigid) both made from Polyproplene/EDM.

Looks like I got some "nicks" and pinhole's that didn't feather. Went to the jobbers for supplies and was going to get some of Evercoat's "flexible glaze/putty" but the product label says it needs to be used directly on the plastic.

From my recent post's you guys may gather I'm not up on working with plastics (but getting there).

I have some Evercoat Spot-Lite can I use that instead?

Am open to another product that has good results.

    TIA

    Greg

If you have flexible parts you should use flexible filler. Rigid filler will crack if/when the parts flex.

So I figured. I'll see how things look after I go out to the garage and sand Primer tommorrow.

Len, I'm assuming you've used Ploy-Flex before. Can you using it over Primer?

Actually these nicks are so small I'm not sure why the Primer didn't fill them. Maybe I'll ditch the 1k for a 2k.

    Thanks

As long as the primer has some "tooth" to it the filler will bond with the surface. I usually scuff the primer with a little 180 before I apply filler.

    Thanks Len. I'll try that.

On another note, I tried that Fusor Product (TR9/114 w/plastic backing) you reccommended to fix the broken tap on the sill panel cover.

A little messy, but works like a charm. When they say "Fast Set" they mean it.

Now if I can just figure out to get it off my hands
