    Default New Stuff

We've picked up a new item and we are running a new Special.

The new item is Fusor Plastic to Metal Bonding Adhesive. Since Fusor makes some of the best automotive products on the market this will be a great help in installing ground effects, hood scoops and anywhere plastic needs to be bonded to metal.

We've just added several models of AirVantage Sanders to the store. We've been selling (and using) a 3/32" orbit sander with a 6" disk to remove orange peel prior to polishing. We are now selling a 3/16" orbit machine for more aggressive sanding as well as 3" and 5" machines with vinyl face and hook face pads in all sizes. You can't beat the quality you get for this price. Check them out on the link below.

    HI Len

Beneath the picture it says to click on the picture for options, which, I assume, are regarding the length of vac hose. The link doesn't work. How long is the vacuum hose and does it fit into a standard shop vac?

The "central vacuum" model comes just the way you see it, no hose. Yes, it can be used with a shop vac. The links only take you to a choice of disk size and hook and vinyl face.

The "self-generating vacuum" model comes with short hose and a collection bag.

Len, I must be blind! I can't seem to find the AirVantage sander with the 3/16" action anywhere in the store. Where is it located? Also, what pad do I need to purchase to work with the 3M Hook It II Paper? I am ready to buy a lot of misc. things from the store, but I want to get the AirVantage at the same time. Thanks a lot. I love this site!!

I just put it on after I saw your message. To use it with HooK-It II paper you want either a "conversion pad" or a 3M Hook-It II backing plate.

    The 3/16 sander is here...

    The Conversion Pad is HERE

The Hook-It II backing plate is HERE.

Default Low Priced 2" and 3" Grinding Tools

We use and sell 3" grinding disks and found them to work great but quite expensive. We've been looking for replacement products for this stage of repairs and finally came up with some new, less expensive items.

If you need to grind the metal clean or grind down some welds you can do it with the 2 and 3 inch items shown below and do it for a very reasonable price.

Default Quick and Easy Air System

I was looking at a product list from one of my supplying warehouses and found this new air system that will probably work great in the garages of most DIYers. I liked the idea but I couldn't find good pictures of the parts so I decided to buy one and check it out and make sure it wasn't just junk.

I got the system today and started putting things together and found that it's a pretty good purchase. I'll post more pictures and details shortly.

    HI Len

Are the fittings good quality? I've seen a few junky versions of this type of system and wonder about lifespan. I'd be surprised if you'd stock something not top shelf mind you! Other thing, what's the diameter of the plastic pipe? I'm currently running 1/2" rubber and just love it over the smaller 3/8 or 1/4 stuff. I'd be pretty happy if this system would not bottle neck my 1/2" hose.

    Hi Cameron

This is a pretty good system for the price. I've been taking some pictures and you can see the individual parts a little better. The pipe is 1/2" and can take 150 PSI. If you're compressor puts out more than 150 PSI you may be able to adjust the pressure switch to drop it down a little or put a regulator on before the tubing. Additional "L" and "T" fittings are available if needed.

In Picture #1 the hose fitting (with the X over it) is not included with the kit.

Picture #2 shows how the blocks and tubing are fastened to the wall.

Picture #3 shows the 1/2" tubing.

Picture #4 shows one of the two aluminum outlet blocks.

Picture #5 shows one of the brass plugs that can be used to plug unneeded holes.

Picture #6 shows one of the two moisture drains.

Picture #7 shows the block that would be piped to the compressor.

The Ls and Ts are pretty well made. The tubing just slides in and locks in place but can be released easily if/when release is needed.

The kits are in stock and drop shipped from the warehouse distributor.

The extra "L" fittings are $25.22 for a 5 pack.
The extra "T" fittings are $36.24 for a 5 pack.
They also have straight fittings (that are not included in the kit) that sell for $24.34 for a 5 pack.
100 feet of tubing is $74.50

    Default Dynabrade Sanders

Dynabrade Sanders have always been some of the best professional grade sanders on the market. We received a promotional package from our supplier so we thought we'd pass the savings along. These sanders will sell for this price for about a month.

    Default Inexpensive Digital Gauge

DeVilbiss has come out with a really nice digital gauge that doesn't break the bank. I find that most (if not all) of the dial type gauges are difficult to read and hard to adjust accurately but these digital gauges eliminate both of these problems and now there's finally one at a reasonable price.

    Default Booth Air Filters

We are in the process of adding filters used to clean the air coming in and going out of your spraying area. These are top-of-the-line filters designed specifically for this purpose. So far the "INTAKE" filters are in place and the exhaust filters will be coming soon.

You can find these in the Online Store located in Paint Shop Tools/Paint Shop Helpers/Ventilation or at the link below.
