How Much Paint to Buy?

Hi Folks, I searched but couldn't find what I needed in determining how much paint to purchase for painting a Geo. I will use Omni.... (1) Primer as is..no reducer needed (2) MBC Basecoat Mixed 1 to 1 with reducer (3) Mc161 Clear mixed 2 to 1 with hardener. PPG recommends two coat each minimum. Your opinions please. Thanks.

Kerf, What color is the paint ? Metallic or non metallic ? (makes a big difference on how much paint you'll need).

Phil, I think you would call it a Metalic Burgandy. Sprayed with a HVLP DiVilbis FLG-3 gun. I actually have some paint but I worry that I will come up short. Thanks,

painting my 56 pickup i used a gallon of black as a base undercoat. final base will be a metalic going to get 1 1/2 gallons. painting inside bed and cab also.

A "regular/midisize" car takes 3 quarts (of colur, 3 of clear) - without the jambs. Jambs take another quart. A Geo should only need 2 ounces.
(Kidding, maybe 2 quarts).
