I can’t answer that but I rip my wet or dry paper so it is about an inch wider than my block on both sides then rap the paper up the side of the block and hold it in place with my hand as I grasp the block. Once the block is wrapped like that it takes no additional effort other than what is required to keep the block in my hand.

I searched for stick-on roll sandpaper for a while and the only one I came up with was Klingspor so I purchased a roll to give it a try. I found that it was a real PITA to use because the block would get wet then the sandpaper wouldn't stick to it so I never used it again.

So do most people just use the packs of 3M Wet or Dry paper in the 8X11 sheets and cut to fit a small block?

Yep, that's pretty much the way I do it or I get half sheets for most of my color sanding by hand but using a machine is a lot easier.

Len I do not fully understand the part of the protective film and the stick on part?
Does the paper have the same backing as the paper of a DA?
So you have long boards with velcro on it?

How does the Indasa redline PSA compare to the 3M red?

Here in Australia we have to pay about 75 bucks a roll for the Indasa white, which I understand is not great stuff. So I'm going to get a few rolls of either Indasa red or 3M red air mailed over. Should end up a little over half the price. I'm also considering the 3M gold which could make up the difference in price by lasting longer and costing less on shipping.

It's in the same neighborhood as far as quality but the benefit of Indasa rolls is that they have a protective sheet that needs to be removed to expose the adhesive while 3M has no protective sheet. The benefit of the sheet is that you can use the paper for clip-on or for stick-on. Except for Trizact we use almost all Indasa these days.

    Cool, thanks.
Do you ship to Australia? If so could you give me a ballpark on 4 rolls?

When we ship items to customers in the US we have them drop shipped directly from our supplying warehouses but these suppliers won't ship outside the US. When we have an order from outside the US we have the items shipped to our office then we send them to our customers via insured Priority Air Mail. This means you would be charged for the shipping to our office then the shipping to you but it eliminates the Brokerage Fees that are charged by other shippers. You would be charged for the order when it is placed then charged a second time (for the shipping) when the order is shipped from our office to you. We have been doing this for orders sent all over the world and it's worked quite well.

However shipping 4 rolls of Indasa would weight about 15 pounds and would probably cost in the neighborhood of $100. just for the shipping to Australia.

So I am very new and don't know anything yet, but I use 80 grit for the filler (rage gold), primer with high build K31 primer, wet sand it with 320, then paint. No? I want perfect but I don't want to work excessively hard for it.

A lot of guys sand filler with 80 grit but that would drive me crazy because it takes too long and doesn't level the filler as well as 40 grit. If I have a thick layer of filler to level I use a cheese grater then 40 grit then apply another coat of filler THEN use 80 grit to finish the body filler. After the body filler I apply a thin layer of polyester putty and level it with 120 then prime and sand with 400 or finer. 320 is normally too coarse to apply paint over.
