    Default SS over DP40LF

I am trying to complete the floor boards of my project the cargo floor was stripped and topcoated with DP40 LF and is fully cured,, the floor is corrugated with some bumps and dings from its 40 years of wear the important thing is the rust is gone and my question is,I know the floor isnt going to be pretty so I was going to scuff the epoxy with 320 and skip additional surfacer and go straight to a coating of solid white SS the floor will be covered with a rubber cargo mat ultimately does anyone think I will make a mistake by skipping surfacer in this area? If it will be an issue I will use surfacer,, in this case it seems like a waste of time.Mike

For what you have planned there is definately no advantage to spraying a high build primer surfacer on it. Scuff the epoxy and shoot the colorcoat paint.
