After that fan is tightened up recheck the inlet pressure. It will change. Great video Len.
jimmo4life has great you tube videos. Bodywork, blending, clear, cut/buff....
Good post Bob. ;)
The value shade on the sealer was wrong. Not on the base mix but light sealer over a dark transparent base.
Never tried the upol but sure its great. Only have experience with SEM and Transtar etch. Make sure to follow the directions concerning flash time.
It'll take a few weeks to dry good.
And after that when you get any solvent, or gas on it look for marks, etching, streaks, lifting, bubbles. and wrinkles. 8o

Ease of use, safer to use, budget, and don't know better things are out there. I brush my Utility trailer every 5-6 yrs with it. Its equipment enamel. Common paint in mfg. plants where machinery are...
the more ya rub it the more shine ya get :yikes
If its 85 out I go 95 on the reducer/basemaker.
Stay a step up/slower but make sure you don't rush. :yikes
Give good flash times. [)
I'd let it sit for a week or so to cure out better. Rescuff and go with light to medium coats as this is what what you need with that stuff. Read the label ;)and reduce it with what it calls for. ...
Which one to buy for panel painting???
Easy.
Buy their 7776S Snap Clear. ;)
Especially true in rons post when using metallics. They will settle out into the nozzle and stop it up or restrict it to a dry sputter. If ya use solid color its not so bad or as much concern unless...
Sharp ride!! Being a scout leader was very rewarding especially spending quality time with my boy years ago. Enjoy. It flies by. :)
After wetting the seam with picklex try blowing it deeper with compressed air. Let it dry over nite then proceed.
Hey Jimmy. Late response but after a couple skims and blocking with 36 and 80....I would consider some DTM polyester primer on that panel or some epoxy followed with Slick Sand polyester primer. 3...
What is the mystery potion in SPI EPOXY that peels and causes failure when used in conjunction with picklex? I like my combo of picklex and epoxy because they work together. I have some spi products...
If ya have a mig welder then tack a piece of thin gauge plate onto the body line after you strip the line. Tack some tits onto the plate so a pair of vice grips can grab it. Weld something onto the...
I would block it with 180 or 220. Use guide coat. If you start seeing epoxy stop. After that decide if ya need to add 2k glaze in the lows. Then put 2-3 coats primer back down after everything is...
I think you mean K36. May be wrong. I would get some shopline high build urethane. JMO. HERE IS THE K36. ...
Clean scuff and clean.

Hello there. Pre paint cleaner that I use after final prime as it is for final wipe. its different than other W&G removers. How i do t know. This is what I use for final paint/primer wipe down. Hope...
Jim I would have put another 2 coats clear on the spot to say the least. Hope it cuts and buffs. I would start cutting right there in the bad spot to see where it goes from there.
If ya lay it down nice you will never go back to hand sanding. Easy answer.
That is some smooth spraying, durable, economy clear. No complaints period. Very forgiving on dieback. I let it flash 10 min.
Gray pad with scuff/prep paste for cleaning and Scratch.
AP on all bare plastic.
Neat project jimmy. [)
My grandad used to take that yr model van and do customizing back in the early 70s. He done several.
On the first wipe of filler with the weld seams I would use milled...
Bevel the hole feathering it 1/2 inch or more around. Tape the back as stated. Then fill it with milled or short stranded fiberglass filler. After blocking flat with 80 finish up with 2K glaze and...
Looks great Nate.
You were given some accurate and time saving advice here. IMO the less time spent working a panel to get the same results the better as it is simply time saved. Don't know if ya...

Why not try to trade as jay suggested the 1.2 for a 1.4? What I have been hearing is the most common setup is the 1.3/1.4 deal. Prob has no comparison to the teckna but I have not ever used the 1.2...

We have those ford beds around here. I am in the south. They do tend to rust around the fenderwells mor than any other place.
DBC will blend well.
For overall I say Dimension Base.
Matrix base is a great choice for either blending or overalls the price will be in the middle.
What products are you using here?
Nothing wrong with single stage black.
