My 4400 and 4500 are the same guns different colors and knobs.. 4500 is easier to clean its smoother finish not textured like the 4400 is the reason for that..
To many options to list, if it were in front of me I'd go with energy pro 250.. or. Even cc5020 .for a 3 yr job even finish ones decent lays out nice.. stay away from nason what ever you do..
Are you spraying metallic or solid? What materials, temp, pressure, gun etc...
That sounds just like my shop! But at least I pay 2,000 pesos a week..lol..
It was double the overspray of a regular tekna quick clean.. a lil worse then a plus gun.. But it sprayed decent just wasnt for me I have no booth so overspray means alot to me..
are you spraying a solid black or metallic? are you using solvent base or water bourne?
to me in solvent I would scuff it with 800 blow off all the cracks and spaces then clean it good with wax and...
LOL,just shaking his cage..
I really don't know why sagola offers other caps the clear ones atomize perfect to me..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ThZ8dc2B8E
its well worth the difference.. I have a 4400,4500 and a 3300 as a new tekna prolite sits in the box collecting dust..
enough talk a pictures worth a thousand words..

Wow! So great it cant even spray metallics without added options..:?
That explains your lack of knowledge, don't worry in that case maybe you can be fixed..:D
Its become clear to me your obviously a spambot or working for iwata, unable to accept the truth as we all know it, as they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks..:oath:
Difference being I chose to do that with the sagola and managed to paint a complete with color change and almost no overspray useing 3/4 of a gallon on a huge car... with the super Nova you have no...
Forget the sagola you obviously can't handle it, back on the subject the supernovas main problem was during design it was able to replicate previous iwatas tulip pattern with the vortex in the middle...
Lol, +1 on that...
On second thought I'd give $100 bucks for another sata or supernova..
Very true my sagola works great as a regular gun wide open and a detail gun..good point!
That right you didn't bring up metalics cause you know your gun can't spray them without putting more then half your liquid in the air..
You stated your gun is great for clear yet you limit it to...
Yes, almost as much over spray as sata 4000rp..
Try opening your fan up all the way and you will see what I'm talking about..
So what your really trying to say is its decent to spray something clear with it but don't ever try and spray a metallic? That explains a lot.. Problem there is it has to be a really thick hs clear...
I have personally sold 2 supernova and 5sata 4000rp and around 6 teknas, I choose to keep my sagolas on hand because I like to spray and deliver not waste time with buffing and color sanding...
Mines an s430 they aligned it to specs of a sl500 its like alignment for a focus specs on a Toyota ...I guess I'm going to a different alignment place tomorrow ... spec sheet says 129 mine is a 220.....

Clean it as soon as your done with it or at least rinse it and leave thinner in it and clean it withen 30 mins and you wont need hard tools..I clean mine right away and at times I forgot like others...
very true i started out cheap and still sell my work cheap compared to others, working in my house and even now on small things the turbine was my best investment ever, having a lil shop has made...
honest opinion ditch the prolite(way to much overspray),get a turbine sprayer make sure it has a supplied air system with it,then at least look into a finishing station or prep station..
you can...

WHAT MATERIAL DO YOU PLAN ON SPRAYING?
THATS WHAT I WAS SAYING IN AN EARLIER POST THIS GUN ATOMIZES SO WELL,YOU CAN CRANK IT DOWN TO 15 EVEN AND IT SPRAYS PERFECT..
I USE WATER,THEN CHASE IT WITH AEROSOL GUN CLEANER..
Spray the clear wet on wet and walk away, its decent for its price I prefer keyquick now... I sprayed lots of Napa for a long while there..
Frame is still of 1 inch so fender willl line up fine with that pull..haven't drilled the hole for the mirror yet as the door came from a 93 and the 95 mirror sits by the glass.. its a caprice not...
