I never sand base coat before clear coating i haven't use guide coat before but once i prime it any
scratches what was there are gone but I sand the primer with 600 grit paper paint and they come ...

600 grit wet and dry is what im using to sand down the primer could i try and 800 grit or would that be to fine

what else could make scratch marks appear in the base coat like i said this don't happen with solid colour base coats I've done 4 not a problem just metalics with silver being by far the worst...
