Etching primer

I am going to be spraying some etching primer and then a bed liner material on the undercarriage of a car. If I prep and then spray the etching primer one evening and put down my seam sealer, do I need to scuff up the etching primer the next evening before spraying the undercoating? Both products are from the U-pol line, their etching primer #8 and their raptor liner.

It doesnt have a recoat window on the tech sheet so I might scuff it with a gray scuff pad just to be on the safe side....
