Motorcycle tank holder

I'm fixing some dents for some friends have them in their tanks, I use a stud puller welder and get the dent out but keeping the tank stationary is always a job. Does anyone know of a holder for cycle tanks to hold them secure while your working on them. I can set about building a dedicated tank holding apparatus, but it would save me some time if I could see one built (if there is such a thing).

well you can get some HF roller stands and remove the roller then just fab a bracket to hold the tank to it.when you start pullin just keep you foot on the leg so it won't tip over.they work great for holding them to paint too.
i just bought one to make a fender stand.I plan on getting a few more

I built astand to hold split tanks that has a heavy I beam then i welded
i long steal rod in the center and then branched it out at the top
and made brackets that bolt to the existing mounting holes on half tanks
