I was spraying MX245 which is an Omni line polyester filler primer and while spraying my second batch, the needle did not spring back forward when I let go of the trigger and the primer poured through the tip.
I cleaned up and all I could figure was that the primer started to set inside the gun and prevented the needle from moving freely.
It was rather cool today so I could not have been painting but warm enough for the primer to begin the set inside the gun.
I've read threads about Evercoats polyester primer and that you need to clean the gun between batches. I guess that would also apply to Omni's polyester primer as well.
thoughts?
