LEN -Settings for devilbiss CVI

What are your fluid settings for this gun when you paint?I will use the fan wide open and I am aware that it runs at 30 psi with trigger pulled with the compliant cap.My paint rep dropped off the first one he got to evaluate for him:D Just curious what you set it at .I'm using sikkens materials and a down draft booth.Thanks

Len told me he uses it at 30 psi. I recently found out that just air at 30, and fluid or paint flowing drops it from 30 to about 25. So next time I use it I will set it to 35 with no fluid. That should give me 30 or so with paintflow.

Yep, whatever it takes to spray it at 30 PSI will do the job. Fluid and fan should be wide open for most spraying.

I wonder if all DevilBiss gun's are that way? The nice man from UPS left my PRi Primer gun at the door yesterday and I'm itching, I say itching, to play with it.

I have a SRi gun and I set that one up the way I do all my guns. I get it set to the recommended PSI with the Fan and Fluid on the gun the way I want by pulling the trigger and just spraying Air.

Then I put in the material and do a spray out on a piece of masking paper taped to the wall and final check the PSI and other gun settings.
