On just about every big job we do we either need to hang some parts from the ceiling or we lay them on something to hold them while they get sprayed.

When you need to hang parts it's good to have some hooks made of reasonably strong steel rod or wire to hold the parts. We've chopped up a few clothes hangers when needed. You can even use a couple hooks on each end if you need to lower the job without adjusting the ropes.

When you need to lay parts on a surface to spray them it's a good practice to cover the surface with a layer of masking paper so that dust isn't blown from the support into your wet paint.

We use motorcycle tie downs hung from the top of the booth...A stepladder makes a nice stand to spray a fender on!

Here's what I did. I got tired of trying to find something to hang parts from and put this thing together. I wanted something I could disassemble and store away when I was finished with it. I took conduit and flattened out the sections where it's put together. It's bolted together with wingnuts.
